This summer brings an exciting opportunity for the children in our community! Jesus Metropolitan Community Church has secured the Sycamore Valley campground in Lafayette , Indiana for a camping experience tailored specifically for children coming from LGBTQ families or children who identify as LGBTQ themselves.

Because of the inclusive nature of the camp we are naming our camp experience “ Camp ForUSt !” so that all children may know this is a camp for them! The dates for the camp are July 20^th-23^rd and the cost is only $170 per camper. This fee includes transportation (to and from JMCC), registration, food, and activities.

While this event is sponsored by Jesus Metropolitan Community Church, this is not a religious camp experience; rather, we are hoping to provide a traditional camp experience for all those who attend. The campground boasts such amenities as archery, swimming, a ropes course, climbing wall, cabins, a rope bridge, hiking trails, and a zip line course—all the traditional camp activities!
