Speakers' Bureau Biography
Tammy Serata is an entrepreneur, outspoken advocate, mimi and legal guardian of four beautiful little girls, including an affirmed female. She is available to speak and educate on behalf of transgender and gender variant youth and their families.
Tammy has a BS Secondary Education with a Minor in Spanish and an MA Communication Studies with emphasis on Media and Representation (Cultural Studies). She worked for twelve years as a teacher and administrator in alternative and public schools, as well as junior college. As such, Tammy worked primarily with high risk, minority, and socioeconomically challenged children, youth, and young adults.
Tammy resides in Massachusetts where she is involved with family, local conservation and environmental issues, and owns a small business.
