May, June, August and September are our most demanding months of the year. This is the time of the year when bulk of our school trainings take place. Our first year we trained about a dozen schools the entire year. We are now in our third year and the demand for our services is increasing in a way we could never have anticipated. WE NEED YOUR HELP.
We have already completed 4 trainings in the first quarter of this year. For May we have scheduled 7. There are 2 booked for June and 1 for July. Requests are literally coming in every day. We haven't started booking for August and September yet, but realistically (based on last year) there should be a minimum of about 10 more for a total of 24 for the first 3 quarters of the year.
Twenty-four school trainings requires a budget of $19,000 to $28,000. That is $800-$1200/session. Our staff is all volunteer so that entire budget directly benefits the kids. ALL OF OUR FUNDING comes from generous individual donors like you.
We do not charge families for these services. We believe that no family should be denied access to proper training for their schools to keep their kids safe and healthy. In order to continue to offer these services free of charge WE NEED YOUR HELP.
It takes a village to raise a child and each of you is part of the village raising the children we serve. Open your hearts and your wallets today FOR THE KIDS!! They deserve the kind of understanding and support many of us never had growing up and if we don't do it who will?
